This well-known consumer focussed business is experiencing strong growth and needs to appoint a legal counsel to lead the business and work closely with senior management.

The Work

As sole counsel for the business, the majority of the work will be general commercial matters including licensing, consumer and marketing agreements, trading standards and regulatory matters. In addition, you will also pay close attention to IP matters as well as digital, tech and privacy.

Required

A strong commercial contracts background is essential, with a degree of marketing and consumer experience being highly regarded. Any in-house experience in retail or media would suit very well.

You must have experience working with and advising senior management and you must have demonstrated experience of working in a fast paced environment in a varied role. A desire to work in a broad ranging in-house position, perhaps taking a step up from your current in-house role, would be beneficial. A demonstrated commitment to high working standards and a strong work ethic are also essential.
