OVERVIEW
Our client is an international law firm with market leading businesses throughout Europe, The Middle East, Asia and beyond. They are without question a dominant force in the legal sector. Following a reign of sustained growth and success the firm is currently seeking to supplement their stellar Corporate team with the addition of a bright and commercially focused Associate.
THE ROLE
The role itself sits within the firms Corporate team, a team that deals with all aspects of corporate law and M&A, both domestically and internationally. The firms international focus means that you will be presented with the opportunity for cross-border work and international transactions across key industry sectors as well as exposure to an exceptional client base, ranging from young entrepreneurial businesses to substantial public and private corporates, including some long established household names. The work itself will see you responsible for a broad range of duties including corporate transactions, mid-market M&A, equity capital markets work, cross-border transactions, group reorganisations and some private equity work.
THE CANDIDATE
Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:
- 2-5 years' PQE
- experience gained at comparable firm recognised for corporate work
- excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree or equivalent
- excellent drafting skills and the ability to translate legal theory into practical advice
- good interpersonal and consultancy skills.
- the ability to communicate succinctly with clients
