Assistant Company Secretary

As Assistant Company Secretary, you will work support the company's compliance with its legal and regulatory obligations through the provision of quality governance advice and the efficient delivery of board and committee support. Duties will include drafting agendas, preparing minutes, coordinating papers and board changes, managing AGM and EGM approvals, maintaining statutory books, assisting with the drafting of governance framework documents, monitoring changes in relevant legislation and co-ordinating any ad-hoc initiatives impacting the secretarial function.
The successful candidate will have Chartered Secretary experience and knowledge of company law, governance best practices, statutory requirements and upcoming trends in the industry. They will have experience with company secretarial entity management software (preferably GEMs or Blueprint) and be a motivated individual who acquires excellent organisational, administrative and interpersonal skills.
A fantastic ongoing contract role within the financial services industry at a competitive daily salary rate.
