Pro-Legal are working closely with a leading international firm looking for a high calibre Lawyer to join their highly regarded Commercial team. It will be working closely with highly regarded Partners who sit in the Sports group and are focusing on growing the Consumer side of the business.

Due to growth in the volume of work in the firm's Consumer and Retail practice within the Commercial group, the team are looking for a Mid-level Associate to join them. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with a leading Partner in this space to help continue to develop the practice further.

This is a client facing role with opportunity for business development working closely with a range of clients, including sports, entertainment, luxury brands, travel, technology, digital businesses; including clients from digital start-ups, providing contractual and regulatory advice.

One of the Partners has a strong focus in the Advertising space and often advises on large advert campaigns for TV or digital platforms, copy clearance, prize promotions and competitions around Europe. As such, clients often need regulatory advice on their large, high profile campaigns.

They often have international clients who are looking for advice on launching in several countries around Europe and such, will involve mostly drafting contracts but also regulatory advice on what the clients need to satisfy. This client has specialists in each jurisdiction around Europe, so international regulation experience and knowledge is not necessary.

Our client sees their Consumer side of the business as a huge point of growth and previous Consumer experience is not required, however is desirable. Personality is key for our client, as the incoming Associate will be well placed for progression and they would consider those with strong Commercial Contracts experience, who are looking to learn the Consumer and regulatory side.

This role has genuine career progression. You will be given support by the Partners to develop your skills in mentoring and taking responsibility of junior associates and trainees. You will also have the opportunity to business develop and building your own profile.

The successful candidates are likely to have:

• A strong academic record
• Strong Commercial Contracts experience
• An understanding of consumer law and advertising regulations is desirable, but not required
• 2-6 years post qualification experience
