Job Details
We are seeking a legal counsel, specialising in fleet and operations, for our client in Bedfordshire. You will be supporting the head of department by providing legal advice primarily in relation to the business’s supply arrangements for the maintenance, overhaul, repair of its fleet (and all constituent parts) and the supply of regulated parts and services to support the continuing operation of the fleet.
The role includes the drafting, reviewing, structuring and negotiation of the following types of agreements to tight and demanding deadlines in order to meet easyJet aircraft fleet operational needs. You will be supporting the continuous improvement of the terms upon which the supply of engineering and regulated supply arrangements are contracted for to the fleet. This role require specialist technical knowledge of how aircraft work, air law and the regulatory issues relating to engineering and technical support agreements and the types of insurance cover applicable to them.
You will have at least one year PQE from a leading aviation/asset finance practice or an English qualified lawyer who has been working either in house (for an airline, MRO or OEM) who is able to demonstrate knowledge and a track record in this area. You will have excellent technical legal skills as well as being pro-active and self-motivated. If you are a problem-solvers with a high commercial approach, we’d like to hear from you.
