Job Details

This major offshore firm’s corporate and commercial practice specialises in equity related issues, advising primarily on complex cross border transactions for a large book of blue chip international clients. Not only do they regularly advise on mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, private equity transactions, shareholders agreements etc, the nature of the jurisdiction means the team also advises as to the creation and administration of investment vehicles such as hedge/mutual funds, unit trusts as well as limited and general partnerships. 

Previous funds experience would be an asset but is certainly not a pre-requisite. The firm is more interested in recruiting a top tier city associate with solid academics, whether they have a specialist corporate, funds, private equity background or a combination of all three. Associates already offshore (Caribbean/Channel Islands etc) are also strongly encouraged to apply.
