We are working with a national law firm. A role has been established for a new business development director to move into the business - this will sit at a strategic level and have national scope.

This well known national law firm is looking to hire a business development director, to work across the national network of offices. You will be responsible for building and leading a high performing business development team, with the ability to define the strategic direction and shape of the business development function of the business. You will have huge opportunity to tap into portfolio of established clients, including commercial organisations, utilities, banks and telecoms providers, with a view to building and enhancing relationships. There will also be a focus on building and optimising internal referrals across the firm, working closely with partners and key stakeholders within the business. This is a vital role to the firm, which is going through an exciting period of change and direction. The business development director will be a pivotal driver in the growth strategy of the firm and central to realising long term ambitions.

The ideal candidate for this position will have worked in a senior business development role previously and had a track record in leading a business development function. You will have the credibility and gravitas to act as a figurehead both internally and externally, building rapport at all levels. You should be client focused and as a strong leader be capable of building and motivating a high performing team. This is a high performing, fast paced firm where you would enjoy an excellent working environment and be able to move immediately into a key role at a senior level.
