This heavy hitting, national practice based in Guildford are looking to recruit a Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join their chambers ranked team.
The firm
This firm are one of the heaviest hitting in the UK. They are well known for the quality of work that they deal with coupled with the approachable nature of their fee-earners, and support staff. As a result of this, they have a fantastic reputation and the majority of their work comes from referrals through repeat clients. This creates a truly unique yet successful blend of familiarity in not only the client base, but also for the staff. For a firm on their size, there is a strong focus on not losing the focus on client connection.
The firm have been operating in the area for circa 50 years giving them a strong foothold not only in the local market, but also throughout the regions making them very much a 'go to' law practice. This firm really do adopt an innovative approach and they are well known for encouraging collaboration by knocking down interdepartmental boundaries. They have a strong focus on ensuring the workplace is a happy ship, and they have been very successful at it.
The role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Commercial Litigation Solicitor to join one of the UK's largest law firms.
The litigation department is highly ranked in the legal 500 and chambers, it is currently growing and expanding, following this trend for the last 4 years. The department deals with international enterprises, national clients and local businesses.
You work with the other partners to drive the department forwards. They support their clients out of their national and international offices.
The caseload will be broad but will include; contractual disputes, contentious UP, debt recovery and urgent relief.
The department is currently looking to grow given they are very busy.
Requirements
- You will ideally have 3+ years PQE experience (although exceptional junior candidates may be considered).
- You will be a motivated, driven individual with an eye for detail and career progression.
- You will receive a basic salary which is above market rate (dependant on experience).
- You will have demonstrated an ability to work both within a team, and autonomously
