Corporate Junior/Mid Associate - Energy/Resources focus

Our client is a leading London headquartered firm with a strong and growing presence across Europe, Middle East and Asia.

London being the largest office, has maintained steady growth with positive financials. They have a sector driven approach, focussing on the Energy & Natural Resources, Technology, Financial Services and Maritime sectors.

POSITION

Following strong deal flow and a healthy pipeline going forward, the firm’s Corporate group are looking to grow with the addition of at least one junior/mid level associate.

While sitting as part of the Corporate group, you will have a lot of overlap with the Energy & Natural Resources group. The group covers transactional work across conventional and renewable energy, oil, gas, LNG and mining. You will also have the opportunity to work on corporate transactions in other areas such as technology, real estate, media and maritime.

Most recently the group have worked on large private equity led acquisitions (many within the energy/oil space), joint ventures within the renewables space, disposals of large renewable energy assets across Europe and capital markets transactions for mining organisations.

CANDIDATE

The successful candidate is likely to be between 2-5 PQE, currently working within a leading law firm or as an inhouse lawyer with a leading corporation.

Ideally you will experience across a range of corporate transactions including; M&A (either public or private), Joint Ventures, Capital Markets.
