Our client is a high-quality house-builder in Surrey, who are looking for a commercial property lawyer with residential development experience to join their in-house team.
In this position, you will be dealing with:
- negotiating option agreements
- site assembly
- rights of way
- public inquiries
- sub-division of the site into plots
- preparation of plot sales packs
You will need to have solid exposure of residential development work within a recognised law firm and be used to finding pragmatic solutions to issues that house-builder's encounter on a regular basis.
The successful candidate must be able to point to strong communication skills and good business and commerciality skills. You will need to be hungry and ambitious and keen to push your career forward in a vibrant, fast moving in-house legal department.
Our client envisages that candidates with 2+ years PQE will have the relevant skills / knowledge for this position, however this has been given as an approximate guide for applicants and our client is happy to consider the applications of candidates who fall outside of this PQE range but who have the relevant experience.
