Your new role

An interim paralegal position with opportunity to become permanent. The Trade Sanctions Paralegal will be responsible for:

• Reviewing all sanctions screening cases created for review by the Ethics & Compliance team for new and existing Customers and Vendors throughout the APA, EMEA and AMERICAS regions and provide advice on any applicable trade sanctions issues which arise.
• Monitor, review and where possible mitigate all alerts identified within the screening process for all Customers and Vendors.
• Monitor and review all relevant changes in trade sanctions legislation applicable to the activities throughout the APA, EMEA and AMERICAS regions and provide regular updates to the Regional Ethics & Compliance Managers within the Ethics & Compliance team.
• Support the Regional Ethics & Compliance Managers within the Ethics & Compliance team on other projects as and when required.

What you'll need to succeed

You will need to be available on short notice for this interim trade sanctions paralegal position. Subject matter expertise in trade sanctions compliance preferred with hands-on knowledge of sanctions screening systems and frameworks within a multinational corporation. You will build the trust of others both internally and externally and exude confidence, yet self-aware and open to feedback
