Job Details
An innovative technology business has recently expanded into international markets with the establishment of their new international headquarters in Bristol and is currently seeking a Head of Legal to manage the legal function of the international business.
The role will report into the Managing Director and will support business expansion into international markets across EMEA, APAC, the US and South America. The post holder will provide strategic legal and business advice to senior management as well as working on a wide variety of legal issues including commercial contracts, IP, IT and data protection.
Candidates will need to have prior experience with commercial contracts, of working with digital products and ideally have between 7-10+ years' post qualification experience*. The ability to work in a fast-pace international environment is essential and those with multi-jurisdictional experience are highly desirable. Candidates should be formally admitted as a lawyer in a recognised jurisdiction.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone looking to develop a legal function in a fast-paced business. Although the wider business has been established for a number of years, the international expansion is a newer venture and therefore the environment will feel like that of a start-up.
