Construction Solicitor

An excellent opportunity for a non-contentious construction solicitor to join a Legal 500 ranked construction team at the Birmingham offices of this top 50 UK practice.

Acting for clients nationally and internationally, the successful construction solicitor joining this team will undertake work for employers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers and developers.

This is a leading construction team undertaking a full spectrum of challenging and complex non-contentious construction work which includes:

- Bespoke contracts and standard forms.
- Inter alia collateral warranties.
- Duty of care agreements.
- Performance bonds and guarantees.
- Major infrastructure projects including ports, roads, rail, tunnelling, waste-water and sewage treatment plants.
- Development projects including demolition, industrial, retail and hotels.
- Energy and power projects including conventional and renewable facilities.

This position is ideally suited to experienced construction solicitors with a minimum of five years’ post-qualified experience. Candidates applying for this position should be able to display:

- A strong academic background.
- Training and experience in non-contentious construction gained with a leading regional or national practice.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Excellent networking and business development skills.
