Financial Services Regulatory Lawyer – Global Bank – Contract – London
The Client
Our client, a Dutch-headquartered global bank, is looking for a financial services regulatory lawyer to support the team on a 3-6 month contract starting in September. Headquartered in Amsterdam, the London office has a leanly resourced team with a positive and exciting culture in the City.
The Role
The role focuses on a variety of areas, including:
- Brexit preparations from a regulatory perspective;
- VOP applications including for MiFID 2 for both investment firms and banks (CRD IV) including EEA passport advice and applications;
- Being the SME on the RAO, FSMA and FCA & PRA rulebooks and all relevant guidance as well as relevant guidance from the EBA, ESMA, and other relevant authorities;
- Providing expertise in other areas including COBS, COLL, FUND, CASS, MAR & PROD; and
- Supporting ad hoc matters as they arise.
About You
You should:
- Have top law firm training;
- Have significant FS Reg experience;
- Be a UK qualified lawyer;
- Be 6-12PQE; and
- Be available to start in September.
