This law firm are a national practice and are well regarded in the Top 200 as one of the heaviest hitting firms nationally. They are looking to recruit an Intellectual Property Partner to join their flourishing, growing office based in London

This firm do punch above their weight and recently dealt with a class action which attracted media attention. You will find a culture where legal talent is nurtured and developed. This Top 200 firm have an international influence giving their lawyers a broad landscape in which to operate.

On the back of repeated success, they have opened equity in the firm and have recently attracted heavy hitting talent. It really is an exciting time to be joining, with new work contracts secured, heavy hitting solicitors bringing work across, and the opportunity to move up to Partnership.

The Role

The firm is seeking to recruit an Intellectual Property Partner to join the firms growing department based in City of London office.

The IP department is highly ranked in the legal 500 and chambers, it is currently flourishing and has been steadily growing over the last 24 months, with plans to continue to grow in line with increased workflow. It is a vibrant and hard-working team, their achievements over the last 5 years are incredible.

The successful candidate can expect to be working for household brand names and owner managed businesses alike on a wide range of IP and commercial law matters.

The IP aspect of the role will include advising on trademarks, design rights, patents, IP licensing, brand protection strategies and brand portfolio management.

You work with the other partners to drive the department forwards. They support their clients out of their national offices.

Requirements

  • You will be an Intellectual Property Partner with at least 7 years PQE (there is no upper limit in regards to experience)
  • You will have technical knowledge
  • Experience of managing a team is of advantage but not necessarily essential
  • Excellent communication skills are essential
  • Salary is very competitive, and above market rate, you will also receive an industry leading benefits package
