Legal Counsel: Retail
A vacancy has just become available at one of Britain's largest retailers based in Liverpool for a suitably qualified legal counsel.
Working within a highly effective legal department, you'll be charged with providing commercial legal support across a variety of areas. You'll be interfacing with different business units covering IT, E-Commerce, HR, Marketing, finance and more.
In this consumer facing business you'll utilize your commercial legal knowledge and be expected to provide expert legal advice, draft and negotiate contracts and manage external counsel. You'll also have an eye for identifying key changes in regulations and make suitable recommendations to business on how to adapt legal strategy.
You'll ideally have a strong commercial background with at least 3 years of experience post admission experience. Applicants from private practice as well as those from in-house will be considered.
In return you'll be rewarded with a highly competitive salary, benefits which also include a sizable car contribution (£6k). In addition to high levels of autonomy and responsibility, you'll have the opportunity to be exposed to a diverse and stimulating workflow.
