Job Details
Our client is the financial services arm of an international automotive brand. We have been instructed to search for a legal counsel to join their legal team based in Surrey on a 12 month fixed term contract basis.
The successful candidate will report directly to the General Counsel and provide support and legal advice to the business on a wide range of matters. This is a truly generalist role, and the work would include advising on consumer and commercial contracts, advertising and financial promotions, consumer rights, data protection, litigation matters, etc.
This role requires a commercially minded individual who is adaptable and robust in their approach as they will be interacting closely with the business on a daily basis.
Skills required
- Qualified lawyer PQE: 3+*
- Exposure to core company/commercial legal areas, e.g., Commercial Contracts, Consumer Rights, Data Protection, Advertising.
- Experience in drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts within a fast-paced environment.
- Must be immediately available to start or able to start within 1 month.
*The PQE range stated is purely a guide. We will consider candidates that fall outside of this range if they can strongly demonstrate the required competencies.
