12 month FTC - Medical Negligence Lawyer - 3PQE+ - London

Our client, a Top 50 practice, is looking to bring on board a claimant medical negligence lawyer for a period of 12 months. Whilst initially a 12 month FTC, the role has the potential to lead to a permanent opportunity.

The medical negligence team handle claims for individuals who have suffered illness or injury resulting from inferior care in any medical setting - including treatment from a hospital, clinic or GP. The matters they handle are diverse and cover all types of medical negligence including high value, complex birth injury claims, wrongful birth claims, spinal injury claims, orthopaedic claims, fatal accident claims and surgical claims.

The successful individual is likely to have upwards of 4 years' experience in medical negligence cases acting for claimants and will handle a caseload of broad medical negligence matters including, but not limited to: fatal accident claims, spinal injury, surgical and orthopaedic claims as well as complex birth injury claims. You must be able to demonstrate experience in having worked on your own litigated cases, be able to work with minimal supervision and work with integrity and empathy.

The successful individual is likely to be enthusiastic to work within a top tier practice, able to work well under pressure and thrive in a busy working environment.
