Our client is an international professional services company looking for a Legal Counsel / Commercial Technology Lawyer to join their busy and growing in-house legal department. This is a varied and interesting role involving drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts and agreements focused on technology for the procurement side of the business. The position offers a genuine opportunity for an ambitious, hard-working self-starter to push their career forward.Based in Central London the ideal candidate will:
- Be a UK qualified solicitor between Newly Qualified (NQ) - 6 years PQE
- Have a strong grounding in drafting and negotiating commercial contracts including IT / technology contracts (such as software development and licence agreements), confidentiality agreements, services agreements, SAAS, PAAS, cloud and more
- Be able to assist and help the department on a wide range of other legal matters including, intellectual property, regulatory, compliance and corporate transactions
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a commercial / business outlook to their work
