BCL Legal are delighted to be assisting a Top 25 National Firm to recruit an Employment Solicitor to join their highly tiered Employment Team in London.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a talented, bright, and ambitious Employment Solicitor,5 years and upwards PQE, looking to undertake high quality contentious and non-contentious work in a thriving Employment Team in London. You will work alongside other talented employment solicitors to deliver commercial solutions to a wide variety of contentious and non-contentious matters of varying complexity and scale. 

The Candidate 

The ideal candidate will be an Employment Solicitor:-

• 5 years PQE and upwards;
• From an established Employment practice;
• Experience handling Employment Tribunal claims from initial proceedings to disposal. Civil and/or appellate court experience is desirable;
• Experience of advising on major projects involving restructures, M&A, TUPE, and collective consultation is desirable. General advisory work with clients on senior level issues such as executive terminations or restrictive covenant disputes, and work on multinational issues, and/or immigration is desirable. 
• Manages own caseload with minimum supervision, depending on experience;
• Demonstrates willingness to be proactive in business development. Record of business development for more experienced candidates is desirable;
• Supervisory experience for more experienced candidates is desirable;
• Team player and effective communicator.
