We are working with an award-winning advertising, brand strategy & consultancy and content production & distribution business based across London, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Melbourne. We are looking for a pro-active, confident in-house lawyer with a strong IP background to join and support the London based GC. In this role, you will have frontline exposure and support the business working across all commercial matters including marketing, strategy, advertising, PR and communications. Your remit will be broad and client facing and include:

• Talent agreements
• Key supply agreements
• Web site and app development
• Digital Marketing (including data analytics)
• Production (TV and online)
• General IP licensing arrangements

The ideal candidate is likely to come from a fast-paced consumer facing background (eg. media, new media, FMCG, retail, digital etc). You will be assertive and thrive on working with a young demographic who have a creative mind-set: you will be calm, resilient, ask the right questions, challenge constructively and push back when necessary! You will enjoy all the support of the GC, but you will not be micro-managed and will love being autonomous and pro-active.
