Funds Solicitor – London Team of Leading US Private Equity Funds Practice – Junior & Mid Level

Highly Prestigious New York Law Firm with pre-eminent global private funds practice requires bright and talented junior and mid-level associates to join busy team in London.

This is one of the most highly regarded Wall Street Law firms with a superb reputation in the US and globally for high quality transactional work. The firm boasts an enviable client roster of blue chip corporates as well as big-name private equity sponsors and their London team is ranked on par with other elite US outfits as well as the Magic Circle.

The London funds practice are specialised in big-ticket buyout fund formation and structuring work and their stellar reputation means they are approached for the most complex and highest value fund launches in the market. Whilst the team operates at the top of the market and everyone does work hard, the firm is well known for being one of the best US firms to work for due to the genuinely collegiate culture and aversion to sharp elbowed personalities.

Due to a busy pipeline of new work, the team requires a highly technically capable as well as client oriented mid-level funds solicitor to join the practice in London. The successful candidate is likely to have a minimum of 1 years post qualified experience with another highly regarded UK or US funds practice. Private Equity funds experience would be highly desirable although those with other funds experience are also encouraged to apply.

This position would be ideal for candidates looking to take a step up to one of the best practices in the London market but have hesitations about joining the stereotypical US firms in London.
