Structured Finance/Securitisation Lawyer, 5+ years PQE

A leading international investment bank and securities business is seeking a lawyer to join their team of senior legal professionals in a largely transactional role. 

Reporting to the Head of the Legal Structuring team, you will provide legal advice, review draft and negotiate documentation and provide all related transaction management and project management for:

• cash & synthetic, funded & unfunded structured transactions covering all asset classes
• note issuance
• netting and collateral enforceability opinions
• project finance and securitisation transactions
• Review, draft and negotiate transaction documents, term-sheets, client presentations
• structured transactions including derivative and repo and securities documentation

You will also advise and assist business units in the  structuring and the setting-up of new & complex products and new business initiatives.

You will have trained at a magic/silver circle firm and have a minimum of 5 years' experience in derivatives and/or structured products in a cross-border environment. You will have excellent structured finance experience with a good knowledge of structuring and execution of asset backed transactions across a range of asset classes, together with the related regulatory background. You may still be in private practice or have already made the move in-house.
