This leading US law firm requires an experienced, positive Business Development Manager to work across the finance-related practice areas.

The role is broad and varied with the chosen Business Development manager being responsible for devising and implementing firm-wide BD and Marketing strategies aimed at raising the profile of these practice areas. Working with the wider BD and Marketing team, the chosen individual will lead pitches and proposals and plan events for existing and potential clients. Other key responsibilities include:

• Setting BD budgets for the group and monitoring spending; analysing the effectiveness
• Identifying ways to cross-sell the practices and sectors, tapping into existing client opportunities
• Keeping up-to-date about competitor activity, industry developments and prospective clients - identifying potential opportunities for business development
• Overseeing content uploaded to firm website and directories - ensuring key messages are understood
• Building strong relationships with partners and other senior members of the firm - coaching on BD activities where needed
• Planning and implementing group BD activities - analysing the effectiveness and ROI
