Restructuring NQs: Step to an Elite US Firm in London – September 2019 Qualifiers

We are working with a preeminent US firm that is looking to expand its Restructuring team by welcoming NQs to join the practice in London.

The team advises on some of the largest, most complex and cross-border restructurings and liability management in and out of court.  The team assists with pre-arranged reorganisation plans, distressed M&A proceedings, and special situations strategies.  From a contentious perspective, there is a focus on Chapter 11 litigation, including defending against lender liability actions.

Given the wide scope and coverage of the work on offer, the team represents multinational businesses to the largest global enterprises across a host of industry sectors such as energy, transport and financial services.

The firm pays salaries that are pegged to the ‘Cravath’ scale, which is the highest on offer in the market – an NQ can expect a salary of just over £140,000.

The successful candidate will have up to 6 months of post-qualified Restructuring experience at a leading international firm in London.  For trainees due to qualify in September 2019, they ought to have completed a Restructuring or Restructuring & Insolvency seat in their training contracts.
