Senior Legal Counsel (EMEA) - London

Our client provides application services and delivery network services globally. You will work across multi-jurisdictions providing legal advice working closely with the sales, services, finance, procurement, marketing and human resources teams. The work is diverse and provides an ongoing opportunity to enhance and develop new skills.

This role offers a high level of responsibility with significant interaction with the executive team and as a Lawyer you will have more visibility across the business. The team are outgoing, down to earth and non-hierarchical. Work life balance is encouraged.

You will be a Lawyer who has a previous background working in a highly regarded law firm prior to your in-house legal career and ideally:

• Be 9+ years post qualified experience in UK & Wales (or other common law jurisdiction) with requisite experience or be a Senior Lawyer seeking to be further challenged.
• Worked in a fast-paced environment providing legal support to the sales team across technology and telco related contracts and agreements.
• Have some experience covering a broader range of legal issues such as GDPR, anti-trust compliance, employee issues, intellectual property, marketing and leasing agreements.
• Have a thorough understanding of contract law and customer facing agreements, working in a cloud or software environment along with knowledge of technology transfer, software related agreements and on cloud licensing.
• Be confident in your legal expertise and have an ability to step straight into this role with limited supervision.
• Enjoy working with other junior members of the team.
