A leading UK law firm offers an excellent opportunity for a solicitor to join their specialist tax team in Birmingham. This is a rare and exciting prospect for a tax lawyer to join a top tier specialist tax team at a top 50 UK law firm in Birmingham.

This market leading tax team forms part of national tax team across all offices servicing clients throughout the UK and internationally, lead by Legal 500 and Chambers ranked partners considered to be leaders in the field.

The successful tax lawyer joining this specialist tax team will undertake a broad spectrum of high calibre and complex transactions which will include advising on the tax implications of:

- Private equity transactions.
- Corporate structurings & restructurings.
- Mergers & acquisitions. 
- Joint ventures.
- Venture capital investments & compliance.
- Real estate matters including SDLT, LBTT, VAT, capital allowances & CIS.

Due to continued success and strategic growth this role is open to a broad range of candidates from NQ to seven years PQE. Tax solicitors applying for this position should be able to display:

- A strong academic background.
- At least a single training seat in tax and post-qualified experience gained with a leading regional or national practice.
- Excellent communication skills both written and oral.
- Experience in networking and business development.
