Senior Privacy Counsel – Banking / FS – Permanent or Contract – Central London – Competitive Salary

We are working for an international bank which is looking for a mid- or senior-level privacy/data protection lawyer. This role offers a good work/life balance, great flexibility, and the opportunity to work from home. It is high calibre work within a positive working culture. A minimum of two years’ experience in privacy will be considered.

Examples of responsibilities include:

  • Supporting the continued implementation of GDPR across EMEA, and the UK in particular;
  • Identifying and mitigating privacy risks in line with business needs, with specific focus on banking laws of confidentiality;
  • Working alongside the business to support and advise on increased activity regarding privacy; and
  • Helping build a successful privacy team within the bank.

Based in Central London, this role will provide you with the opportunity to develop and grow as a lawyer. A contract hire is preferred, although permanent options could be considered.
