The Client / Role
Our client is an internationally renowned U.S Law firm with over 20 offices worldwide, continuing to expand. The firm has a strong presence in London, with its fully serviced London office consisting of c.250 fee earners with the capability to advise on both domestic and international clients on a broad range of U.S. regulatory and transactional issues.
Our client is looking for a mid-level associate to join and add to their Leveraged Finance team, operating both with the lender and sponsor side of clients; based at their London office.
The Responsibilities
The opportunity is great for any associate seeking to build a senior career to partnership. The ideal candidate will be able to advise on and have experience in either of, but not limited to:
- Working with private equity sponsors and lenders
- Working alongside the firm’s tax, restructuring and private equity teams
- Debt recapitalization and restructurings
- Structured finance
- Risk-retention capital formation
- Leadership
The firm represents a diverse global client base that includes some of the largest asset managers and private equity sponsors as well as lenders.
The role will suit an individual who is prepared to take their career to the next level. Someone who is looking to lead transactions, possessing strong leadership skills. The individual will be working in an entrepreneurial environment with a spectrum of existing clients but with opportunities for business development.
The Requirements
- Junior - Mid-level associate
- Trained at a leading US, Magic Circle or a leading firm
- Strong leveraged finance experience
