Commercial Solicitor

An opportunity has arisen for an interim in-house commercial solicitor to a well known business based in Liverpool City Centre for a period of 3-6 months. The company has undergone a period of growth and transformation in recent years, and is undergoing a review of the existing legal team, hence the interim requirement.

Specific responsibilities of the role will include: drafting and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts; providing advice to key stakeholders on contractual issues, disputes and general enquiries; managing the company trade mark portfolio and domain names; supporting the marketing team on advertising and marketing compliance; providing general legal advice to the business on data protection, consumer and other compliance matters; assisting with disputes and litigation; and training other business areas and key stakeholders on legal policy and new legislation.

The successful candidate will support our client across a wide range of legal matters however at its heart this opportunity is a commercial law / commercial contracts role. To be considered you should have demonstrable commercial contracts experience, gained at a leading law firm and/or in-house legal department.
