This leading international retailer has an opportunity for a commercial/tech lawyer to join its highly regarded legal team based in Central London. 

About the Role

You will have key responsibility for a broad spectrum of company departments and stakeholders including the Shared Service and Group functions (Procurement, Logistics, Technology, Digital & Finance) and Brands in the business. You will be expected to be a trusted advisor to the Business, responsible for delivering risk-based, commercial advice and Legal expertise primarily in the areas of Technology, Logistics, Digital, and Procurement. You will also be involved with more general commercial matters including franchising and IP contracts, IT, marketing, supply and distribution, and e-commerce.

You will work closely with the IT team and you will have direct access to senior management.

About You

A strong commercial contracts background is key, along with exposure to IT/technology matters. You will ideally have previous in-house experience but relevant experience is more important. You must be able to work well with the wider business, including senior management, answering queries on the spot and updating senior management.
