Job Details
We are working with a Top 100 practice who are looking for a clinical negligence lawyer/medical malpractice lawyer to join their top tier clinical team. The role will be for a junior solicitor between the NQ-3PQE level who has experience in clinical negligence/medical malpractice with a genuine interest in healthcare.
The firm is a member of NHS Resolution panel of lawyers and works closely with a range of medical malpractice insurers. The team advises on clinical negligence matters, regulatory matters as well as clinical risk management. They are ranked as a top tier team within the legal directories and are highly respected within the market for being market leaders within this field.
Successful candidates will be expected to have litigation experience, preferably gained within a leading medical negligence/malpractice or clinical negligence practice within the City or surrounding regions.
The role will involve managing a varied caseload of claims for NHS Resolution.
There will be the opportunity to work closely with a partner who will provide supervision when required. Opportunities for business development and client contact are also very real.
Candidates should:
- Be England and Wales qualified or qualified in another commonwealth jurisdiction
- Be between NQ - 3 yr PQE mark and have experience in handling litigation matters ideally in relation to clinical negligence and/or medical malpractice
- Have obtained experience from leading city or regional practices
- Be solutions focused and dedicated to providing a first-class service to clients
- Be able to work as part of a wider team as well as independently
- Be self-motivated and ambitious
- Have a genuine interest in healthcare
