Your new company
Working within a Leading, Large, Commercial firm based in the Centre of Reading. You will be working with the Commercial team focusing on IT/IP/Contract work. The firm sits predominantly on the board for the majority of UK commercial lending banks and housing associations, whilst also working across all other industry sector groups as well.

Your new role
The firms National Commercial Group is going from strength to strength and this exciting plan for accelerated growth over the next five years is starting at the top of department. Their bold and ambitious plan is to be recognised as the Commercial Practice in the UK within the next 5 years. Already well on that journey, currently having an excellent team focused on six key service lines:

  • Commercial Contracts
  • Technology, Media & Telecoms
  • Intellectual Property
  • Financial Services
  • Privacy & Data
  • Capital Projects & Infrastructure

What you'll need to succeed
My client is looking to recruit a further 2 or 3 Commercial/Technology Solicitors with expertise or specific interest in IT or IP law. You will have the opportunity to develop within exceptional and innovative teams. On offer is the full spectrum of high quality work - the team advises on large multinational outsourcing arrangements and complex IT projects to more routine supply arrangements and distribution and agency contracts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate first-rate commercial experience, outstanding client service, the ability to take responsibility and a track record of being involved in business development initiatives. They will consider candidates offering private practice and/or in-house backgrounds.
