Opportunity to work at a well established Chester based firm who are seeking an experienced solicitor (3 Year' PQE+) to deal with a caseload of private paying family law matters with a focus on financial & ancillary relief.

The role will initially see you deal with an existing client base and have a mix of private paying family matters and some childcare matters. There will also be the opportunity to develop your own client base and build up your own work sources whilst working closely with a senior partner. Work is varied and will consist of divorce, ancillary relief, pre-nuptial agreements, domestic violence, injunctions and private children matters.

Your client base will be built up of local and regional clients who will often come into the office for face to face meetings, so prior experience of dealing with clients in this manner would be ideal. As this is an autonomous role you will be dealing with all aspects of the file from start to finish and you must be an experienced advocate, as this is in important part of this job role.

Currently the team is small however is looking to grow and establish themselves even further within the area. So this is a great opportunity to earn a reputation as an experienced fee earner within the firm and local area. This firm have a great work / life balance and offer a fantastic working environment with a supportive senior management team.

This position would suit an ambitious solicitor who is willing to work hard and help grow a department as well as dealing with a broad mix of work.
