OVERVIEW
Due to continuous success, our client is currently looking to expand their Financial Services team in London and Edinburgh with the addition of an NQ - 3 years' PQE Financial Regulation lawyer. This is a remarkable opportunity to join a team that is not only part of a strong and growing wider financial regulation practice but also one that has a formidable reputation for regulated lending and banking and is ranked in both Chambers and Partners and the Legal 500.
THE ROLE
When you join this firm as a Financial Regulation lawyer, you will become an integral part of a thriving market-leading team that is known for its 'superb knowledge' of the sector. From the outset you will be exposed to the highest quality work, for some of the UK's biggest name clients. Your work will be varied and interesting, and will range from advising on retail customer terms and customer journeys, through to commercial interactions for highly regulated financial sector businesses, conduct matters, interaction with the FCA and the Financial Ombudsman, and remediation and contentious issues. In return for your contribution, the firm offers a benefits package which befits this top of market appointment, access to an unrivalled client base, not to mention a collegiate working atmosphere.
THE CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be an dynamic and innovative newly qualified - 3 years' PQE Financial Regulation lawyer who can evidence Financial Regulation experience (or can demonstrate a keen and genuine interest) gained within a comparable environment and at an appropriate level and be looking to grow that knowledge in a proactive way. You will have an excellent academic record with a minimum 2:1 degree and possess the ability to build and develop strong relationships. Excellent communication, organisation and legal/technical skills are also essential.
