Job Details
Our client is internationally recognised as having one of the premier insolvency and restructuring practices, working on an extremely diverse spectrum of restructuring and insolvency issues.
They are looking to recruit an Associate with experience in financial restructuring, including contentious and non-contentious debt restructuring, capital reductions and privatisations (including where appropriate by way of Scheme of Arrangement), ideally with experience in cross-border matters and conflict of laws, enforcement of rights by creditors (both secured and unsecured), the conduct of liquidation proceedings generally, including considerations when acting for liquidators or other stakeholders in a liquidation proceeding, and fund related advice and disputes.
The role offers an exciting opportunity to an ambitious and hard working associate to join a growing team in an international law firm with an excellent reputation.
The Candidate
- 4 -5 years PQE gained in a reputable law firm or financial institution with strong international firm training (onshore or offshore firm).
- England & Wales admitted
- Experience in contentious / non-contentious restructuring / insolvency will be considered.
- Ambitious, hardworking and a good team player.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Excellent writing skills
