Commercial Property Solicitor / Associate - This is an exciting opportunity within a new and growing team offering a fantastic mix of quality regional and national commercial property work. The role is for an NQ-4 to support on of the main Partners in the team, whilst taking responsibility for your own files. As a result, you will benefit from developing a close working relationship with one of the most experienced and respected lawyers in the Manchester market, who enjoys an excellent reputation for developing staff.

THE ROLE AT A GLANCE

• Job title: Commercial Property Solicitor / Associate NQ - 4 PQE
• Location: Manchester
• Salary: £37,000 - £45,000
• Reports to: Partner
• Previous Experience: The role is very mixed involving everything from landlord and tenant, acquisitions / disposals to 'big-ticket' development work. The client is looking broadly and is keen to hear from lawyers who want exposure to a broad range of work and enjoy working with clients from SMEs to large national (and international) companies.

NEW TEAM OFFERING A REAL MIX OF QUALITY WORK

The work on offer is highly impressive and offers any candidate the chance to develop their knowledge to become a fully rounded commercial property lawyer. This is a new team and the Partner heading up the department is looking for a solicitor who wants to get involved on a variety of instructions from acquisitions and disposals to landlord and tenant work at varying levels of complexity.

There is also the chance to be involved in a broad spectrum of development work right up to big ticket schemes across the country. However, it should be stressed that this is not a plot sales role. The department already has a team of paralegals who handle the plot sales aspect. Nevertheless, the successful candidate would be encouraged to gain some exposure to the advisory elements of the work, whilst learning how to run major projects.
