This is a local government authority in the North West with a dedicated legal team.

Your new role

This is a locum contract to start immediately. The role is a senior solicitor covering the work of the Children and Families (Legal) Group.The work involves providing legal advice and legal representation to the children's Services Departments of three local authorities in public law proceedings and pre-proceedings.

What you'll need to succeed

You must be a FILEX or qualified solicitor. You will have experience in public law family work working for local authorities. You will have significant advocacy experience and be in a position to carry a full case load of complex family cases.
