THE ROLE
For a procurement Lawyer to join the firm's consistently UK ranked team.
The procurement team continues to enjoy a varied, high quality workload acting for major utility and central Government clients as well as bidders.
They cover the public sector, utility, defence, concessions and other sector specific procurement rules and advise on all aspects of procurement law including general advisory work, project work and contentious matters.
You may approach procurement law from a background in any of competition law, public and administrative law, construction or general projects / commercial law.
ABOUT YOU
Whilst experience in any of the above areas would be an advantage, the firm seeks candidates with a good academic background with a genuine interest in the area and who enjoy intellectual challenge.
You will be working as part of a procurement law focused team within a consistently top ranked Competition department and there would also be the opportunity to work in or expand your skillset into related areas such as competition law, state aid and the laws applying to regulated markets.
