High-Standing US Firm in Pursuit of Contentious Competition Associates (4-5 PQE)

We have been instructed on a new role for 4-5 PQE associates to join the Competition team of an elite US Firm in London.

This particular work is more contentious by nature, with an emphasis on arbitration. The team advises on a series of antitrust and compliance matters relating to mergers & acquisitions, joint ventures, regulatory compliance and other matters all under a dispute-oriented framework.

The client-base will include some of the leading companies and organisations in an impressive array of industry areas, including the petrochemicals, pharmaceuticals, real estate and even entertainment sectors.  Advising clients of this calibre while experiencing high-quality international work will benefit candidates from the perspective of professional development.

The salary on offer is highly lucrative, as the firm’s rates are levelled at the ‘Cravath’ scale.

The succesfull candidate must have prior contentious Competition experience at a leading international firm in London.  Arbitration-specific experience in the context of competition is advantageous, but not mandatory.
