Corporate Projects Associate (2-6yrs PQE) - Kuala Lumpur

Our international law firm clients Projects team is looking for a mid-level associate with a construction/EPC background to join their expanding team in South East Asia. The role will be based in Kuala Lumpur, but the work will be pan-Asian and focused on front-end project development work, with a particular focus on EPC and other forms of project delivery.

Applicants will have between 2-6yrs PQE in a common law jurisdiction and will have a background in front end construction and similar commercial contracts work, ideally gained within private practice.  Whilst you will be part of the Projects team, you will be expected to work collaboratively with, and support, colleagues in other practice groups and offices on the implementation of major projects in the infrastructure and energy sectors.  You will regularly work with bespoke and industry forms of contract, including FIDIC, and will advise on unique and complex issues and be required to draft complex documents.
