Job Details
We are seeking a VP for Legal and Regulatory for our client, a fintech business in East London. You will be responsible for the management of the regulatory team as well as providing the business with legal analysis and impact assessment of existing and upcoming regulation.
You will have sound knowledge existing and upcoming regulation on national, European and international level in the fields of financial regulation, gambling regulation and AML regulation. As well as monitoring legislative changes, you will be drafting position papers, responses to public consultations and attending hearings and meetings with law makers and authorities. Essential skills include: a keen interest in regulation and knowledge of the online payments landscape.
The successful candidate will have 5 plus years of post-qualification experience with an enthusiasm for working with a major provider of payment services. An international profile and experience would be advantageous. If you have strong interpersonal skills, we’d like to hear from you.
