Banking & Finance Associate

An opportunity for a Banking & Finance Associate to join an international law firm at their Dubai office has presented itself. My client is looking for an experienced individual and therefore offer a very generous salary and benefit package.

The role will cover a broad range of tasks and will involve working closely with partners. In particular it will include dealing with a range of banking and finance and capital markets matters of varying sizes and complexity, spanning corporate finance, real estate finance and Islamic finance, project finance, restructurings to bond and Sukuk issuances; Initiating, building and maintaining effective client relationship; Pro-active involvement in marketing initiatives; willingness to work across a variety of banking and capital markets specialisms.

The Ideal candidate will have international law firm experience in respected field; you will be comfortable carrying out the tasks mentioned above and have an excellent academic background. Banking & Finance Associates with western qualifications will have an advantage, however this role is open to all candidates across the globe. You will have excellent academic record; likely to have at least four years' post qualification experience gained at a reputable firm, preferably in common law jurisdictions; prior experience of the Omani banking and finance market advantageous; prior finance experience (knowledge of ICMA, bonds and Sukuk would be a significant plus point).
