Job Details
Our client is an elite international firm that is seeking UK-qualified Dispute Resolution associates to join the Dispute Resolution team in Dubai.
An increasing number of UK-qualified associates are relocating to Dubai, owing to better weather, a thriving ex-pat community and overall culture and lifestyle, and most of all, the astounding tax-free packages on offer. The UAE’s burgeoning economy also provides exciting opportunities for those who are looking to commit their future to the region.
The team advises on a wide range of disputes matters. From the litigation perspective, there is a focus on DIFC and ADGM Court litigation, whereas with arbitration, associates handle both commercial and investment treaty matters under LCIA, ICC, DIAC and ICSID rules. Given the breadth of work on offer, the work also includes corporate and financial services investigations.
Team members are encouraged to pursue frequent client interaction, which is ideal for increased professional development potential. Associates advise clients across a variety of sectors, such as energy, construction and banking.
The successful candidate must have between NQ-4 years of PQE, with prior Dispute Resolution experience gained at a leading international firm in London or any other major international hub. While the firm is particularly keen to hear from UK-qualified associates, common law qualified lawyers are also encouraged to apply.
