This internationally recognised company based in the heart of Cambridge with an outstanding reputation within their field stretching back over 100 years - are now seeking a talented Legal Counsel to join their experienced in-house Legal team.
This is an internationally recognised business, who are at the very forefront within their sector, providing a range of services to millions of customers worldwide.
They currently have an experienced team of 10 within their Cambridge office and they are now seeking a talented Legal Counsel, where you will benefit from an outstanding work life balance, an enjoyable office culture and being part of an efficient and cooperative department.
The Role
This outstanding company are now looking to hire a talented Legal Counsel into their Cambridge office
This is a very exciting time to join this collaborative, and friendly in-house team in a varied role where you will benefit from an open plan office and shared knowledge culture.
You will be responsible for your own area within the business offering a degree of autonomy, where key duties will vary from more complex work to general Commercial Contracts and Compliance work to Regulatory work and some general Data Protection.
In this position, you will be reporting into the Head of Legal meanwhile being fully supported by the wider team and dedicated junior staff.
There is further progression available in this role for the right person where your efforts will be rewarded with internal development and long-term promotion prospects. This in-house team have strong staff retention rates with individuals having stayed within the Legal team for 10 years+ which is a testament to the work culture and work/ life balance provided.
Requirements
- You will be an experienced Solicitor, Senior Solicitor or Legal Counsel with 2 - 5 PQE +
- This position is open to those within Private Practice seeking a transition in house, or those already in house, seeking a more collaborative team with a better work life balance.
- You should have first-class communication and the ability to liaise with stakeholders
- Salary is competitive with an outstanding benefits package including (28 days & Bank Holidays) and further progression
