Our client are renowned as being an established employer of choice in the local market. They currently have a fixed term contract opportunity for a Senior Legal Counsel to add real value to their team in Cheltenham.

Your new role

You will join the finance and corporate legal services department to play a key part in the management and support of the business, with the opportunity to liaise with internal and external stakeholders. You will provide pragmatic and accurate legal advice and solutions to the legal issues faced by the company, encompassing various areas of law, including; compliance, contract, ITC and IP. You will also support the Head of legal in the effective management and operation of in-house legal function within the company.

What you need to succeed

You will be an experienced Commercial Lawyer, with previous experience of working in house in a team driven environment. You will enjoy working in a fast-paced and complex business environment, therefore you will have the ability to build relationships and influence individuals at all levels of the organisation, you will also possess the confidence and gravitas to challenge decisions and actions when required. Ideally you will be able to start at short notice.
