The Role

With our city-wide infrastructure projects progressing across multiple UK towns and cities, we are looking for a solicitor with 3+ years non-contentious construction experience to join the team and support our roll-out.

The legal team is already well integrated into the Supply Chain and Construction functions of the company and, as a key contributor, the successful candidate will advise on a range of construction-related matters – including drafting & negotiating construction contracts with contractors, advising the business on construction issues in-life and working with material vendors, software providers and design houses to support our city-wide roll-outs.

Experience of bespoke and standard-form construction contracts is essential (such as the NEC suite of documents), together with a strong commercial background. An understanding of the end-to-end construction management process would also be helpful. The role will be based in our Milton Keynes office, though will involve some UK travel to meet with contractors and with internal stakeholders as required.
