My client, a prestigious Magic Circle firm are seeking an experienced patent litigator. The firm have a strong reputation in this field and have recently hired a market-leading and renowned litigation heavyweight who is an expert in life sciences litigation.

This practice is going through an exciting expansion phase and the partner is looking for bright IP lawyers. The work on offer is very technical and intellectually stimulating. The successful candidate will litigate on all areas of patent litigation, from pharmaceuticals to biotechnology, as well as regulatory issues. In addition to advising on the most high profile and complex cases in this sector, the candidate will also work closely with other jurisdictions to co-ordinate a global strategy for clients.

The firm are seeking a candidate who is entrepreneurial and able to immerse themselves and learn about unfamiliar areas such as medical devices, if they do not have a scientific academic background. It is also essential that the candidate be willing to take on more responsibility, as you will be supervising more junior associates. An excellent academic record is a prerequisite to be considered for this unique opportunity.
