Relocate to South Korea: Prestigious International Firm – Dispute Resolution Associates (1-5 PQE)

Our client is a leading international firm that is on a recruitment drive into its Dispute Resolution team in South Korea.

The Asia Pacific region has always been considered a highly attractive relocation prospect for UK qualified associates, in particular locations such as Singapore and Hong Kong.  South Korea has also begun to emerge as an ideal place to move to, given its beautiful landscape and intriguing culture.  Seoul, in particular, is a business hub that offers comparable business and professional progression opportunities to Singapore and Hong Kong.

The Dispute Resolution team undertakes a wide variety of challenging and complex contentious matters, and the breadth of work on offer means that associates will gain exposure to litigation, arbitration, contentious employment, and investigations work. 

That said, the work is largely international arbitration-focussed, and associates advise leading local and international clients across a range of industry sectors, including construction, real estate, energy and manufacturing.

The successful candidate will have between 1 and 5 years of PQE.  While the firm is looking to hear from UK qualified associates primarily, US and Australian qualified associates are also encouraged to apply.  The candidate must have prior international arbitration experience gained at a renowned firm in their respective jurisdiction – having broad dispute resolution experience (which includes working on arbitration matters) is advantageous but not mandatory.
