As part of this dynamic, commercially-focused group, the successful Business Development Manager will lead a small team and be responsible for devising and implementing BD Activity aimed at enabling the group to win, retain and grow business. Key responsibilities include:

• Working closely with partners and senior associates, developing growth plans and advising on firm strategy
• Identifying opportunities for developing existing client relationships, enhancing the client experience with the view of increasing profitability
• Providing matter content for legal directory, rankings and award submissions
• Working closely with the Banking & Finance group; promoting the overall transactional capabilities of the firm
• Advising on major pitches lead by this group; helping to prepare documents and managing rehearsals
